Hello Marie, for you I decided to update my blog and wish Marie and the world happy new year! May this year bring you more luck and better life..I haven't write for the longest time, the moving the changing planet surroundings, followups on shipments and little things had made me occupied completely. Oh, for those who didn't know, I have left Egypt for good (might still visit Egypt for holidays but definitely not in these short period of time) and transfered to Indonesia, Balikpapan. We left behind lots of happy and sad memories, good friends and Mahmud (for those who knows him)..
Balikpapan is a nice place. We live in a house with sea view and a beautiful park. Its definitely more calm and less hectic. The culture and traditions are more closer to Malaysia's, the food that I craved soo badly in Cairo is now available at an arm length's most of the time (thank you to the excellent Pembantu's that cooks delicious micious food..), and now, its the weight control time. Within less than a month stay, I have gained 2 kilos, yikes!
Here is my new year's resolution!
1. To try and update my blog more frequently so Marie get little update of our little life here
2. To disconnect myself from Facebook, so here is the only place we will be updating our little boring life
3. To make the tour around south east asia, so much to see...
4. Eat less, only the portion I need and try to exercise
5. Learn french and actually practice my french with the French-ies..
So..here is a tip I got recently from a friend, a good way to keep your body not tooooo FAT, since I love food so much. This tips only apply for people like me, who enjoy madly food..I have wierd relationship with food as my hubby would describe it!!
1) When you're hungry, eat
2) If you feel like eating something, go ahead and eat it..
3) Don't cut the portion of your food if you're hungry
4) Don't think of making diet...eat what you want
5) Be cautious of what you eat
6) Put the whole portion of food you intended to eat in the plate and eat them
7) No food infront of TV
So, lets see if I get to reduce my weight this way???!!

Yes, I want to be able to look at your blog and know what you are up to, as much as you can see our family pictures on our blog.
I don't agree with all the food advise... I don't think you should eat whatever you want. Only, you need to eat wisely: no belgian fries, no chips, no cake (unless you know it is really delicious). There is no need to eat a crappy cake, because "it's not worth its amount of calories". So don't buy any junk food, then you will not feel like eating eat. By the way, KFC is on the list of junk food.

Aiyaaa, Meshary, in malay the word would be perasan..in english..je ne sais pas..the thing is, the 3 little princess = safeia mashael and arissa...i dont think you 3 men are little?
Marie...I will follow your advice.. I am on the record track have successfully gained 3 kilos since I arrived..sigh**
